Parlour renovation

The light coloured, coated floor in the parlour of the Jerg farm had slowly become slippery and cracked, due to many years of usage. Renovating with asphalt or other coverings would have made the parlour unusable for a long time. Mr. Jerg decided to renovate with KURA Flex rubber mats, which can be installed easily in between two milking times.

Farmer Josef Jerg:

“The cows accepted the rubber mats in the parlour very readily. They walk into and leave the parlour quickly and safely. Cleaning takes slightly longer than before, but the total milking time has not increased, because milking and walking in and out are faster now.

The reservations about whether the black rubber would absorb light and make the parlour darker were unfounded. The renovation has certainly paid off, I would definitely do it again."
